One of the first pieces in the Espalier Series. Stoneware, Slip, Stains. 18'W x 6'H, wall-mounted in 22 sections. This piece was a response to the issues of weight, gravity and timing that dominate a lot of ceramics making and teaching. It is based on one of the standard espalier patterns and was an attempt to learn the form by using one of its common themes.
